Looks like they've done a good job.

Need some more pics when the weather's more sensible, it's a shame it can't follow the same lines as the hatch coz it would make the roof bars blend in better.

From the back, with the black spoiler it does look good though.

Mine can still come up as a 1.2 TSI, that's what LV said when we got a quote. Wondered who was gonna buy the brother because I saw USL first as mine was out with a customer when I wanted to see it.

Question - have you got yours yet?? Yeah mines the GL Derby one but I'm still yet to get it as they haven't called to let us know "skoda have invoiced them" as it was a demonstrator. Spoke to them a week ago and they said that. Starting to get a little annoyed waiting so long.

We first went to see ours at Gordon Lamb Chesterfield on the 5th of January and picked it up 2 weeks later. We had arranged to go and view your car on the 4th January at Derby but when we phoned them the next day they said it had already been sold first thing in the morning. They did not seem to know what they were talking about as we were told different stories by different salesmen .

When did you view your car then and if you don't mind me asking did you get it for the price shown on the website.

Ours was a Skoda direct demonstrator car and Gordon Lamb Chesterfield pulled out all the stops to let us have the car early.

We have had it for 4 weeks now and love it.

I should put some pressure on them. Tell them you have found another one if they keep messing you about.

Andy

We've paid (according to the PCP) 1k below the price on their site. Ironically the cars still on there. We viewed and placed the order on the 31st December.

Hi gaz how hard would it be to take the roof bars off so you can get the whole roof done.?

Inside trim and roof lining would need to come out as it looks like they are bolted from the inside but I don't think they'd need to remove the bars anyway, they trim around them I think.

The only trouble with the wrap is how to finish it off along the panel after the rear quarterlight.

If you look at a fabia with a black roof like mine it's finished off like this......

I bet you could be quite smart, and follow the curve of the top of the windows, down towards the tailgate. Meeting at the rather dark rear window. Would take a bit of effort to get right though.

Taken last May on a trip to visit family in Switzerland

Yo gaz talking about monte estate's with a full black roof i'm finding it hard to get a pic of one..!

The lines of the Monte hatch roof and the position of the doors means it's easier to do than the estate.

It should still be possible, it's just getting it to look right, that's all as the rear window curves rather than the straight line of the roof and rear doors on our hatches.

It does look better with the roof as it is now though.

Garpat, would you mind telling where you got it wrapped and how much. Thanx

Still wet outside, hopefully it brightens up today!

U could line it up with the bottom edge of the rear spoiler to get the full look of the monte hatchback if u see wot I mean...???? I think this would be my preferred option....JMO :)

We looked at ways to do that bit, under the bars.

But with the rear quarter being one full panel it looked really odd with no natural seem.

Same here, there's a groove that runs along the roof/door line of the hatch and there's a rubber strip fitted along it where the black meets the red on the quarter panel, it would need something like this on the estate me thinks.

It still looks loads better than just the red roof though.
