The thing is as long as ur happy that's all the counts......:)

Do the tailgate will look like a sportback :giggle:

From that view it looks spot on mate.

I agree 100%.

If i was getting my roof wrapped i think i would run the wrap down this line....

There was a Fabia Estate with a roof wrap a while back, it had it done to the door top and into the door jambs,

The wrap was finished along the top of the rear quarter panel with black Coach Work edging trim as used with vinyl roofs on Hearse or Limousines.

I like this inside the rails, more subtle.

I'm wondering how it would look taken down the rear pillar like at the front.

Very crudely done on my phone......I like the op's wrap better...

Yo jonro ya need a clear coat on that. :giggle:

The matt look's usually reserved for stealth bombers and Audi R8s !!!

Leave the car as it is mate.

Still wet outside, hopefully it brightens up today!

I like the look of this it looks very good

I really like the Fabia in estate form - even though I don't need the space I'd be tempted to buy one as a cheap runabout when I part with the vRS (probably end of September next year when it'll be five years old).

If I got a Monte though it would need to be a black one so that the plastic trim wouldn't be very noticeable. The black one on here is smart.

Super.b your monte looks cracking what bulbs are you running in your main head lights they look really bright.? P.S whey did you blank out your reg in some pic's but not in other's.

I have HID's 5500k H7. If you want to know what model i bought i can send you a link. :)

I think the car look better without a reg. But i didnt have time to PS all of the photos.

Cheers dude a link to the hid's would be great .

BTW:

I bought it in Slovenia, but those in UK store are the same. As i found i don't have 5500 but 5000k. And they are installed in car more then a year and they are working perfect, good looking/really white, and visibility is perfect. I suggest only when the lights are dirty and if you don't have cleaning washers for lights to clean it more often. :)

Be careful fitting real HIDs, CE approved doesn't mean E marked and the vehicle will not comply with EU regs - needs self levelling, automatic cleaning system and also permanent shutdown when airbags are deployed...

Not true! MOT states that that these things must be working IF fitted.

Aw ffs now im confused, im over here in n.ireland and im not sure about the mot rule's when related to hid's.

HIDs retrofits have been discussed to death all over the web. This is a fairly decent write-up of the reasons these kits are marked 'show use only' and the like.

This has been done to the point of madness. The kits are not illegal and are fit for the road however the mot rules are subjective. See http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/car-servicing-repair/mot-changes-2012.html for info under the lighting section. There is no right or wrong at the moment for these kits. Just make sure the beam angle/height/pattern is correct.

I'm sure there's plenty of HID threads around the Mk2 section especially... Now let's see some Montes again ;)

Here's another photo of mine complete with new roof bars and my new steed, a Boardman Comp MTB.
