Congratulations, very nice indeed.

I pick mine up on Monday.  I'll be very interested on your thoughts of the 12 speaker sound system.  It's one of my extra's.

To say I was disappointed by the door bin would be an understatement... (especially for 20 quid!!)

I had the speaker system in my Superb and it is very good, so I ordered it for the Yeti. Not had a chance to play with it yet, been fitting dog guards to mine and SWMBO's so I'll give it a blast tomorrow.

But how excited are you bigjim?

Very!

Nice.

What's going on the the number plate plinth ? Is it bigger than the plate ?

Hadn't noticed it before you mentioned it... It's a standard size plate.

Very very nice sir, enjoy the new ride, did you get a 6 cd changer as standard?

Think so but I don't use CD's any more, hence the MDI.

Very nice yeti

Thanks

Had a couple of days with it now so I thought I'd post some thoughts...

Cons

The wing mirrors are too small

The privacy glass is not as dark as it was in my Superb

With a dog guard fitted you can't take the parcel shelf out, or get it back in, which is a nuisance when your car is parked for most of it's life on London side roads.

It won't stay white for very long in this weather

Pros

Pulls like a train, 4wd system works well in this very wet weather

Comfortable with a nice driving position, higher than I previously thought

TBA

Economy is rubbish at the moment, but it was the same in my 170 Superb so I'll wait a few thousand before I worry about it too much

You have almost exactly the same spec as me - except I went for black roof & alcantara.

I also found the £20 bin laughable - but it is still useful.

I don't have a CD changer in mine (or at least if I do I haven't found it).

I'm also finding economy pretty rubbish thus far but it's only done 300 miles (210 of which were put on today) so I'm hoping to see improvement over the coming weeks.

I also went for the 10 speaker system, but it is not discernibly better than the standard 8 speaker one to my ears.

If you have the Bolero head unit, it has an inbuilt 6CD changer.

Lucky you - I have to wait till Friday. Have you tried to fit the tow bar yet?  I have three dogs - decided to have large crate made, will need to remove parcel shelf completely. Enjoy your Yeti.

Very nice motor.

As to the dog guard I have one too and it now sits unused in my shed.  A very, very nice Travall one too but since I don't have a dog I wanted it for when I put luggage up high in the back. But it was impossible to get the parcel shelf in out easily with this in so it had to go.  Anyone want to buy it from me?  :giggle:  (I'm a Freedom member so allowed to ask!)
