Hiya.... Just introductions really. :-) New Member, registered today.

 

Fair bit of Skoda History. Had:

 

2005 Octavia Estate 4x4 1.9Tdi from 0 miles to 80,000 miles. Company Car. Lovely Car.

 

2011 Skoda Superb Estate 2.0Tdi 170 4x4 from 0 miles to 60,000+ miles. Company Car. The best car I've ever driven and I've had some nice cars.

 

As now moving jobs, have to give the company car (Superb) back and just bought a 2008 Octavia Scout (obviously 4x4) , ex-Police Accident Investigation Unit, with 130k miles on the clock.

 

On the way I've also had a Volvo V70 AWD (lovely but very, very thirsty) and a Passat 1.9Tdi and the lady wife has had a variety of Golfs, 1997 and 2004, and a 2012 Seat Leon. So we're a VAG household. :-)

 

Best wishes to all, hope to be a reasonably active member of the forum, though admittedly like as a Skoda *owner* rather than user (a la COmpany Car) is not going too well so far... Already posted today asking about a warning light and it's the Scout's second time off the drive since I bought it... :-( Somewhat unhappy.
