    Dammit...

    I think me and waveydavey are out as we cant find a decent hotel in the area for less than £100

    The plan was hotel and night out in Scarborough on the Saturday for Mrs Waveydaveys birthday.

    Now it looks like night out in Sheff on the Saturday and self diagnostic on the Sunday whether we are able to attend

    Even tried premier inns and travelodges miles away

    If anyone hears of one/thinks of anywhere before friday, pm me

    if not, its in the hands of resolve... i mean god, as to whether we make it now

    I assume even The Grand doesnt have a couple of cheap rooms left? 

    We got in there last time for a stag do/weekend - pretty cheap.

    Damo, how far out would you consider? We've stayed at the Hallmark Hotel in Hull (well, just outside, in Hessle) and the food was very good. Looks like they have double rooms for £81 B&B. That's about 50 miles out - though you could always call into Beverly on the way up on Sunday morning - it's worth a look around.

    I think Mrs Waveydavey has firmly decided on a night out down Sheffield now

     

    Will still try and make it Sunday, but the chances are probably slim

     

    If we don't get there, have a great meet anyway and hope the sun shines for you  :sun:
