Right you lot, What will

Featured Replies

Do you want new or used?

New then either the Fiesta or Focus ST. The guy from Evo running a long term ST recently had an Octy VRS for a 1000 miles, preferred the Octy's interior but felt the Focus gave the better driving experience. Or of course if you want to stay with Skoda then a new Octy.

Just watching 5th gear and they are driving the Kia Pro Ceed GT which they all seemed to like.

May brings the new Subaru Imprezza, I'd have oen in a heart beat if I could afford the fuel bill.

Renault Megane RS, still the bench mark hot hatch I believe.

Toyota GT86 or Subaru equivalent.

If used then how about a Porsche, an older 911 or a newer Cayman or dare I say a Boxster?

Obviously some of the above can be had used as well.

Have fun choosing :)

  • I am, it's a cracking little car. I know the reviews have been very positive.  But it really is a good car on a talented chassis. Mountune kit being factory approved is the icing on the cake.   Yo

  • Ford Fiesta ST-3 spec so full of kit including nav. Mountune Kit takes power over 200bhp, quite good for 1100-odd kg too. Plus it's factory backed and covered under the standard 60k/3year warranty.

  • You are quite smitten with the fiesta at the moment I'd love to have a go in one though, but feel cheeky going to a dealer to test a car when I have no intention of getting one for quite a few years

this won't have traffic jam problems either, plus 7K left over for a remap, suspension mods RARB new watch :giggle:

I looked at Lee's link and just thought it said BossFox all over it :)

MkI Fabia vRS has more torque than a Boxster. True story bro :D

Save a bit more and golf R/s3

I'm getting a new Subaru wrx sti in April/May...........need I say anymore regarding my suggestion to you? Only thing is it's not £25k, but if you can afford the difference you would have a VERY rare car. Only about 200 coming to the UK.

If I didn't live in poverty, I'd buy stuff like that all the time

Mini Cooper s before they ruin it again with a facelift?

I'm sorry, I'm sure I just heard Boss Fox say he'd bought another car...?

But I agree with his choice, Fiesta ST was great frun to drive and fully loaded you can't go wrong...

I've just got an A5 3.0 TDI V6 for a lick over £21k so you could get a V8 powered S5 for your £25k budget...

Porsche Cayman.

If you can wait have some fun in a new S1 3 or 5 door.

You can have a play with mine when it arrives in four/five weeks.

Time for a BossFox Subforum...;)

Well you didn't specify a 'good' car.

Merc ex-demos seem to be pretty good value around that figure. Saw a C250 AMG for £23k.

If you really want to be silly, & think that a drop-head is a good idea, why not stay with VAG & find a late EOS, V6 perhaps, or a re-mapped 2.0 TSi?

I'm looking for something similar myself, SWMBO wants a convertible again, but she still wants to keep her VRS, it's too nice to trade-in!

Help, we'll need a bigger house soon at this rate.................

A B8 S4 is the obvious choice.

Not another one for Counselling.

£25k?

I reckon you could afford Wayne Rooney for about 14 hours for that.
