    Mine fitted straight on too - there is a specific part number you need to use. The one I sent to SNH was the right size, just the locating pegs are in the wrong place. Just snap them off with you thum

Had dent man sort out my bonnet today. After a close encounter with a cyclist the bonnet had 4 big dents and 1 small one. Looks brilliant, best £40 I've spent so far!!

Fitted new discs and pads all round... Took about 6hrs... But did it all myself.

    Went for a drive today to take paint off surface of discs. Seem to bite quite well already. Bit of a whooshing noise at lower speeds with the window down... Grooves! Now have semi-shiney discs...

    Also fitted my new chrome rings to the climate knobs... Ties in nicely with the stereo now.

    Brakes are really sharp. Very happy.

    New wheels on the way due to lacquer issues with the first lot.

    Yeah... Wanted anthracite centres... But they had none.

    Also because the face of the wheel is flatter than the others the lip is bigger.

    Wheels are 8x18" front and 9x18" rears.

    Will have to check the tyre size etc.

    I had his old Octavia VRS TDI , the amount of proper bodge jobs, cheap replacement parts and things I had to sort out and replace was constant

     

    Left me pretty much immaculate 200+ bhp and 570-610 miles per tank

     

    Got a Superb DSG 170 Estate elegance now - good pics to follow
