As it always happens with my cars... my new Octavia has started the journey down the modding avenue.

Bought, given a good clean and looked like this:

Then ordered some new rims, after careful scrutiny from my son he agreed they were ok to pop on the wagon:

And then downward with coilovers? :)

Are those replica wheels or real split rims?

Coil overs would be nice... But budget does not allow at the minute. Maybe after some overtime shifts!

They are replicas... Real split rims would of cost 3 or 4 times as much.

Air ride will be costly, coilovers will look super cool, whatever you do please don't go for springs.

Ooops. Springs ordered. It's just a quick fix until I can afford coil overs.

Slight change to springs... Had a good read around and decided to upgrade to the H&R Cup kit. So will have matched dampers to springs! What are credit cards for anyways!!

Nice. Have you gone for the 50mm drop?

It's the 50mm kit... So gives the VRS an extra 35mm drop. Nice. Thought I may as well get the dampers too. Saves 2x installation and re-alignment costs!

De-badged the rear, cleaned and lime primed whilst I painted the grill surround black... What you think??

Bare in mind the new Skoda badges have 3 small dots, it won't fit on the front grill but you can remove them with a drill machine, thats how I did it

Mine fitted straight in. No fettiling needed.

A bit like this, only in blue, and without the Shark sticker, spoiler and LED

I think your front grill is a facelift of the pre- lift one, that's why yours fitted straight on.

Mine fitted straight on too - there is a specific part number you need to use. The one I sent to SNH was the right size, just the locating pegs are in the wrong place. Just snap them off with you thumb and away you go.
