14 hour work days, George, you gotta man up fella.. LOL.

In all honesty, you have done a great job on the first 2, may as well finish the last two when you are free of work on the weekend and can take your time. Once the clearance issue is sorted I can't wait to see them on the car.

I think the wheels will make the biggest change in appearance. I mean, 14" is just not enough mate is it!

I was rushing to get them on for a car meet called 'Prept' which goes on at brands hatch, but it was cancelled so I'm taking a well deserved break from mods. I've done quite a fair bit to the car in the short time that I've had it, so am pleased with the progress. My wallet had certainly taken a pounding and my energy levels are running low! Haha

Got a fair few bits still in their boxes waiting to go on and the plan is to do a custom interior that could quite possibly be matching the wheels!

But that's a minor detail on the upcoming plans that are falling into place that I had thought up when I had the previous estate.

Lots more updates on the weekend :)

Well, I'm currently on the last wheel!

Just put the first cost of paint on, will definitely be finished tonight.

I was going to wait until the weekend to do the lay 2 wheels, but then I thought, if quite like to be out driving the car then, so finished work, and got straight onto prepping them!

As I said, on the last one, they'll be on the car tomorrow

Desperately needing some sleep right now

Must..... Keep .... Going .... *yawn

This is why I gave my TT Comps to a professional outfit in Exeter which is costing me £200.  I know its saving me a shedload of time, and I know I would **** something up trying it myself.....  :D

I've finally finished! Totally dead. Haha.

I simply don't have £200 spare to spend on a wheel refurbishment, I may aswell have bought brand new wheels for the total cost after that.

It's taken ALOT of hard work and time, most of the hard work refurbishing and polishing the lips.

I'm glad I've done it myself, i do enjoy it, I love paint spraying it's just the prep that's no fun!

I'll fit them first thing in the morning which means I'll be able to drive the car on the weekend which is nice.

I had £200 but unfortunately not the time, so sort of in the opposite camp.

There's other stuff I will DIY but wheel refurbing definitely isn't one of them.  :D

If i could have afforded it mate, I'd have got them done professionally and had them powderciated as the finish is so so durable.

Im trying to get this car upto scratch in a short period of time on a small budget, so all of the work is going to have to be done by me. Its certainly taking its toll! :)

I look forward to seeing your comps

Good work! I'll add my wheels to that respray we spoke about. £25?

Seems like a fair price! ;) haha

Wheels are so much harder to paint and prep than panels!

Yeah I'm in awe of your efforts. Think I'll start to do more once evenings are lighter and warmer!

Looks really good!!

Great job!

What wheels are they?

Looking great George, big changes to this car.  Can't wait to see the next instalment now, different exhaust, more power, more colour coding, carbon ceramic brakes!

Looks brilliant :) great work

DEFINATELY bigger brakes and more power. I've already got a Hybrid turbo to go on, higher flow injectors . I also have bigger brakes to go on. Just need to find the time to fit it all!

Well, tonight in the dark, I removed my hybrid turbo that's going to go on the new Fab.

Was NOT a fun job, but it's one more thing out the way.

This evening I also purchased an AMAZING interior that I will be fully customising for the Fabia.

It's never been done before, so mine will be the only one! Which is what I've been looking for.

I'm shattered so going to bed ..

Here's a snap of the hybrid that I removed

Definitely no pics of the interior yet chaps ... You'll just have to wait until the weekend hehe

Thanks mate, cramming in all the mods as fast as I can!

Coming along nicely now, will be alot better than your last one. I'm wondering if I should get a estate as the wife is on at me to get a more family car    :giggle:

It's been a late night. By far the hardest ones I've done so far.

More pics to come

Definitely the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in.

And before anyone asks, no they are not scirocco seats.

What are they from George?
