Had to have three tyres replaced last month (Feb), car only done just over 9,000 miles. had Dunlop SP Sport on from new, Rear n/side got a puncture that couldn't be repaired & the front two had both bubbled, perhaps due to hitting pot holes I was told & was advised to have them replaced. Now have on three Zero Rosso 225/50 on.at a cost of £445. Are they reasonable to have on?

My Yeti arrived on the Dunlops, they did about 37,000 miles before needing replacement, I then got 4 Bridgestone Potenzas, these were great, really grippy and fairly quiet, I think a further two sets of Potenzas and then I had continentals fitted, terrible road noise at motorway speed it was a high pitched whine, couldn't wait to get these off the car, it now has Dunlops again.

113,000 miles and 6 full sets of tyres so out of all the tyre manufacturers Dunlops lasted the longest.

Mines been on P Zero Rosso's since I bought it.  I like them - good grip wet or dry.  I've also used them on snow with no probs.  Not sure about having three of them on though.

As above! Good grip wet or dry. (Not good on mud or offroad obviously!)

Re. ‡11 (can't find hash on Macbook...), W is speed rated 168 mph, V is only 149 mph.  Ridiculous in real-world terms on a Yeti, but that's the spec, so worth checking with insurers before you fit V rated summer tyres.  Any excuse to avoid paying out on a claim...

Replaced original P Zero Rossos with Good Year Efficientgrip Performance cost £139 each fitted from Formular1 centres. same size 225 R17 50 with 94w loading. After about 1000 miles the ride is softer, quieter and less jerky, all in all to me improvements all round.

Not having been on any major trips I can't comment on any changes to fuel consumption however it doesn't seem any worse than before with the Pirelli's.

Great!

I've used (and recommended) Oponeo myself and would readily do so again.  Glad you got on well with them this time too.

I've been aware that the Falkens have been a favourite for years but never used them - await your findings in due course.

How much?

Do you have pictures of them fitted?

£88 each inc VAT, delivery is free. Just back from having them fitted at local place, who told me they are good tyres but the compound is softer than the Dunlops so may not get the same mileage, but they won't be on all year now I have a set of winters.
