Hello All,

 

First post. I am currently driving about in an 8 yr old XC70 with near 115000 mls on the clock. However I have put a deposite down on a 2011 Octavia mkII vRS estate, oil burner. As my mate along with my teenage lad have said its in "mid life crissis red"

 

Apart from the Volvo coming to the end of its reliable tether it was time to get something with better economy, more driver involvement etc. I drag a caravan around the UK and France on family hols alomg with camping trips to the Le Mans 24 hrs with mates. Thus with two dogs as well as the rest of the family to lug around perhaps you can see why my hard earned is going on an Octavia estate.

 

Short wait whilst DVLA sort my cherished plates out then I will be a fully fledged Skoda driver !

I'm sure you'll appreciate the change.  Mate of mine has an XC90 and I'd have my Superb over it ten times over.

Thanks, yes I am like an 8 yr old waiting for their birthday at the moment. Looking forward to some trips and just enjoying the daily commute.
