The tag in my boot says that the colour code is 9507 but the tube of 9507 I bought on eBay is a lighter, more silver shade that the car. Was there a change in this code between 2002 and now? Where should I buy the right colour?

First post here. But silver is stupidly hard to colour match. You'll never get the same shade unless you take it to a professional.

Welcome to Briskoda :) Best place I've found is Skoda parts dept's. They do aerosol and laquer twin packs and touch up and laquer twin packs, both ~ £12 and always the best match IMO.

Hi and welcome aboard.

I would have gone to a dealer or a paint shop to match the car up properly.
