Stereo Upgrade

Featured Replies

The other day I bought myself a Skoda Fabia Ambiente 1.4 TDI 80Bhp (don't know if the last bit is necessary), and am chuffed to bits with it :)

I love the car, but I have a slight issue

The radio in the car is the Symphony CD/Radio which is an probelm due to all my music being stored on an iPod

I have found a nice radio i like but it is double din in size

Could someone please direct me to the correct option on ebay or the like as I do not have enough knowledge in the matter, and will buy the incorrect one :P

My other option is to buy the optional radio upgrade available when the car was new, does anyone know which it would have been?

Thanks in advance for any/all replies!

Pioneer AVH 4400 BT is an awesome double din unit. We have these fitted in both our Fabia and Octavia. Full iPod/iphone ready either via Bluetooth or via optional cable. Not cheap but you gets what you pays for.

This is the aftermarket adaptor which gives you iPod/iPhone functionality. It can charge and skip songs, but doesn't display track titles or allow navigation etc. It works fine for me if you like the OEM look!

Double DIN will work fine, you just need the fascia adapter - something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKODA-FABIA-Double-DIN-Fascia-Fitting-Kit-CT23SK02A-/260422265177

Take a look at the Alpine 235bt
