Installing power outlet/usb C and 12V for rear seats

Featured Replies

Hi there!

I'm planning to retrofit on my 22 FL the power outlet (for home plugs), usb C and 12V for the rear seats replacing the 12V installed by default. I bought from a damaged car on the front the whole set of plugs including the inverter (the whole kit has part code 5Q0907155H) and ordered in Skoda the connectors (mainly for the outlet and usb, these on both sides) and cover panel.

I also bought the USB inverter, 5G0035953D, which has an extra connector (the black one) to power the rear USB.

Dunno why but according to mechanic only the 12V can be powered but not the outlet or the USB: does anyone know why? He also opened the inverter of the the 5Q0907155H and there's no short circuit on it.

Dunno if the usb must be powered with a cable similar to LVDS or not (the connector is round).

Please help me!
