Octavia VRS Mk 1 Rear Brakes

Hi there,

I am in need off some new brake pads and discs for my octavia mk 1 Vrs.

I am wondering if any of you chaps know the part numbers for these components, as I am struggling to find genuine bits!

GSF stock them: Pagid are the OEM.

Currently running 225/35/19 all round. Due to pot hole and something else my tyres are out of sync for replacing. i want to change to 235's but can I replace just the front for now and the rears another time?

Little update since i posted about my Superb 280 going stage 2 back in may. I have questioned the high torque figure ( 618nm) with the tuner and was assured that it's a safe map, ok i left it at that. Three days after remap, car starts burning oil without even being pushed hard. So i switched to thicker 5w40 Castrol Edge ( issue rectified) Week later i pinned it from traffic lights and car cut power after 5000rpm. Gear changes felt really rough and jerky. Questioned it with the tuner, got nowher

So, it happened to me as well. I tried opening the boot, which opened halfway, and that was it; it can only be opened/closed manually. Hooked it up on diagnostics, and it said "Hall sensor in motor 2 for rear hatch: Open circuit/short circuit to B+". Indicating that one of the wires broke, as it is a common issue. Now the question: Is there a way to access this wire, disconnect it, and remove the entire strut(motor), without the need to remove the entire plastic side, as it has a lot of work? I

Hi Folks, Octy Mk2 2005 1.9TDi. Glow plug warning light has been coming on randomly for over a year - Skoda dealer has no idea; no fault code on OBD2 scanner. Seemed to coincide with EGR low-flow warning (EGR cleaned) I'm a bit stumped. Any of you worthies had similar issues? Car performance is unaffected and starting has never been an issue, winter or summer.
