"Approved Used" - horror story

Featured Replies

I purchased recently a second hand vehicle from a well know franchise within Scotland. Unfortunately the deal was undertaken during the evening and I did not pick up on the fact that they said that the tyres had been swopped front to back - within the week I had the tyres checked and low and behold 3 out of the 4 needed to be replaced. The following week I had 4 new tyres fitted and the tracking sorted.  My fault for not checking the tyres properly. I am still pleased with the vehicle

Another approved hell?

Are Skoda dealers becoming more unscrupulous?

If the tyres needed to be replaced because they were not road legal at the time, then the dealer has committed a criminal offence and should be reported.
