Advice For 3.6 V6

Featured Replies

(This is NOT a sales pitch)

Now my new Octy VRS is on its way to the UK, I need to get rid of the Superb. With it being such a niche and rare car, I'm wondering where/how to sell it

What method have previous V6 owners found good when selling? (Mine is a standard 11 plate estate in grey with less than 25,000 miles)

One of these buying companies are offering £13,300 (which will get lowered a bit when they inspect, but that still seems an ok price)

I'm going the local Skoda dealer this week to see if they want to buy it.

I could get FREEDOM but I'm not sure how effective the forum is when it comes to higher value cars?

Any advice welcome :)

For the sake of a measly 12 quid get Freedom. You will need an enthusiast to maximise the value and there are loads on here. Too soon for me with kids in college but I will be looking here first for a well specced Superb in a few years.

And you will benefit the forum, and prob keep the car well looked after if it sells here...

Not a sales pitch??

Not a sales pitch, not sure how effective the forum is? Why try and sell without Freedom then?

Nope, not a sales pitch. If it was, I would've said lots more about the car.

When I said "I'm not sure how effective the forum is" I meant "I'm not sure how effective the forum is" rather than "I don't think its effective." If I meant that, I wouldn't have mentioned it.

All I'm asking is where other people have found good when selling their V6. After all, this is a forum; a place where people are meant to help each other.

Having just ordered a Yeti, I found the dealer particularly uninterested in taking my V6 in part exchange and advised me I would get a better deal selling it myself. Not a great deal with webuy........ etc., but a convenient means of offloading the car.

I never expected the car to retain high values, I just wanted (and have achieved) great fun with the vehicle, but you really need to find someone who really understand and wants the car to get the sense of what the real value of the car is.

Thats kind of what I was saying. And you are arguably most likely to find that person selling on here. At least worth a try for the sake of £12 I would say.

Autotrader is about £15/week. Here its £12 and it will be up as long as you want it to be, plus the people here are the right audience for the 3.6.

I love my v6! Get freedom anyway because you get forum perks! Anyone who knows someone is on here and can always pass on a link to their friends.
