Hi all,

Here's what happened:

Note: All occurred on long motorway runs.

1. TPMS "low pressure" warning on dash. All pressures were correct when checked. I reset TPMS and has been fine since. Happened wednesday night.

2. Columbuus stalled/crashed. Reset twice, fine since. Friday evening.

3. Seatbelt undone warning, early saturday morning. Unresolved / intermittent.

Sound like time for a new battery?

Thanks in advance,

Rob

1. could be that at PDC the built-in low pressure level warning wasn't set at the correct level (ie set too high). This happened to mine. They just hooked it up to the computer and set it at a lower threshold.

I've got the tyre pressure light before. The causes were, tyre changed/replaced and Tpm not reset immediately after. Hit a pothole and this triggered it - a reset resolved it again. My Columbus switched off a few times. Resolved itself after a while. Strange but I know a few that had that issue. I'd get it checked out though. One thing that can cause it though is if you don't let the system load fully when you start the car i.e you try to use the radio/sat nav too quickly. The system will do an auto restart in that case.

Thanks for the replies lads. All seems well so far today after a 45 minute drive.

I'll post anything relevant as it happens.

Cheers,

Rob

Whilst the car is in this mood don't feed it after midlight or let it touch water at any time!

possible water ingress to a connector or module.

Check car water level and monitor it.

Check carpets and under dash for water,

Thanks Superbdreams,

Where does the water gain access to the cabin?

Rob

I had water coming in under the dash from a poor windscreen seal. Fixed under warranty.

Thanks mate ...

I've had the tyre pressure monitor give a warning for no apparent reason but reset it and all has been good since. Like 170 my Columbus locked up because I tried to input a destination before it had fully booted up, a reset cured that too.

Last time I had a seat belt warning light misbehave was iirc in a new TR7 during the Rose of Tralee festival LOL,

I honestly doubt it's water ingress but I'll be keeping an eye on that...I think It's either an electrical anomaly or a low battery so not the end of the world ..

Thanks to y'all,
