Hi guys.  Having had my superb a little over a month now really enjoying it.  And had previously no problems with it at all until today.

 

I DID have 7 digit postcode search functionality, but for some reason unknown to me it has suddenly downgraded itself to 5 digit searching, which is massively frustrating.

I have been through all the options to see if I've changed something I shouldn't have,  and for the life of me I cannot see what has happened.

 

I need a vcds to activate the secret menu thingy, so short of pulling the columbus out of place I couldn't tell you anymore about my unit... just that it's in an 09 elegance superb.

 

Any help will be much appreciated!

Did u change the country by mistake?

I did.. but only because when trying to search today everything was blank... stupid question but what country should it be? Tried searching United Kingdom and Great Britain... even tried Wales lol... In the end had to settle for Europe

Very odd, must be a setting I would have thought, but can't imagine which. If you need the secret menu enabling I have genuine vcds in Newport but also in Cardiff some weekdays. Feel free to PM me.

Setup System

Call up the Setup System menu by pressing the range selector key SETUP and the function

key System.

Change the system language manually

– Press the button Language and select the desired language in the opening pop-up

window. When selecting the menu point “automatic”, the system language is the

language which is set in the menu of the information display. If desired, another

language can be selected for the unit.

If I remember right,

I once was pressing randomly and somehow my UK country changed to France or something.

And I was unable to enter a postcode correctly.

 

Let me chk manual for u...
