Battery/electric problems Skoda Octavia 1,8tsi 2008

Featured Replies

Hello.

Wondering if anyone can help me with these strange problems.
The car is an Skoda Octavia 1.8 tsi 2008.
It is like this that I can not start my car after it has been parked for a week.
Have switched to a new battery that is bigger and stronger but ther are stil the same problem.
I've also got new error after battery replacement. Now i can not open the rear left  window (electric lift) properly. It has been converted. Pressing up as they go down and vice versa. Now you can not open the windows with the remote as before. Before you could open or close them with the remote.

I've done some testing on the battery and have concluded that I lose about 0.22 volts per day . So if I place the car with fully charged battery connected to 12.77 volts so i will get 12.55volts 24/ h later.

Have gone through all the fuses in the car and it stil god and new.
Have these models any known faults with this?
Want even to sa that I have disconnected the new battery for 24 hours and the problem has persisted.
Is there a relay that will change perhaps?

I thank you.
