Got sticking vains on my ibiza pd160 cupra Guess this works on pd160 turbos too anything I should know before I start?? Do I need to use new gaskets when refitting??

Gaskets people do re-use them just have a look at them and decide then

Ok had a quick look yesterday and my egr pipe looks like it goes into a canister before the manifold what is it??

That looks like the EGR cooler mate.

Thanx I've heard about these thought they was only on the Leon's tho So can I just disconnect it from this end and put oven cleaner into manifold from where this attaches to it??

I thought you need to disconnect the exhaust down pipe from the turbo and clean from there. Isn't the EGR on the compressor side, whereas the sticky vanes are on the turbine side?

That's the link but on a car with no egr cooler I just didn't know what it was and didn't wanna do more harm than good
