Most power from there vrs

Featured Replies

Hi all was just wondering who has the most power on here and the mods it took to get it there I've only just started only got a stage 1 remap about 217bhp

Mine was a UK car, was 247.9 when it was over there, bits got sold off it and now it's at 212.6 at stage one. But I've gotten everything I need to make it 280, that's stage 3?

Mods at the moment :

Every boost pipe is silicone,

Walbro 255

Mapped.

Bits waiting to go on :

K04 - 023

All bits needed to fit

4 bar fuel pressure regulator

80mm silicone tip

Intercooler 600*300*76 core size

BAM injectors that will be cleaned and tested

BAM engine charge pipe

S3 maf and airbox

Getting a custom downpipe and exhaust

Vr6 clutch/g60 smf kit

Currently on the look out for :

S3 strut brace

Front and rear arb

Brembo

S3 recaros

That will be a beast when you get those bits on :-)

I hope so! I've already started googling the possibility of making my vrs 4x4 too. From what I've read, it's a nightmare to do. But same had been said for making a 4x4 a vrs.

Making the 4x4 a vrs is alot easier. Bumpers, interior, brakes and alloys. Sorted really.

I might start keeping an eye out for one with a blown engine or really cheap.

mmm... keep looking for the broken 4x4... otherwise you'll be cutting and welding bits of floor pan, and fuel tank :wonder:

IIRC, we've had guys running 400+ on here. There are still a few well in the 300's.

Making a vRS into a four-wheel drive is an utterly ridiculous prospect and will require some quality fabrication. Dropping vRS spec (and better) parts into a 1.8T 4X4 however is a piece of piddle.

Does anyone know if the octavia 4x4 is the same four wheel drive as say a TT or S3?

Yes it is same system

Same system, but you will require the Haldex to make it work anywhere near as effectively. As stock, it is pretty much FWD with just a little assistance from the rear.

mine was pretty powerful

Your pink princess didn't get the chance to produce any figures did it ?

I would be happy to achieve 300bhp.. That's the main aim.

Although right now, it's just getting the turd to run nicely as is!!! That's the current mission

Don't be harsh butt, I'm trying my best with it like

I'm running 371bhp at the moment!

Mods required=lots!

Monez required=lots and lots!

Hehehe

Care to elaborate on that mark? I'm very curious!

going to be rocking the 300hp mark in a few weeks for mapping.

What do you think I would be looking at power wise it's at 210-215 after stage 1 map or though I've not had it on a rolling road so can't know for sure the plan is mods wise

Fmic

A decent cold air induction kit

A cat back exhaust maybe sports cat

That's the plan anyway just wondered what I would be looking at with them?

In my opinion, a better downpipe is important. I'm getting a custom 2.5 inch one. From what I've read, no extra power gain from a 3 inch, just noise. But I've read that a bigger downpipe = more power, but more importantly, the turbo spools much faster.

I'm getting a custom turbo back system, much cheaper than a branded system.
