I currently have a 2010 Octy II FL Estate and a set of Skoda roof bars, I'm soon to change to an Octy III Estate and am I right in thinking that the Octy II roof bars will not fit the Octy III? If so then these are a bargain!

I'd be curious as to how heavy (or not) these are... I notice they have an 80kg load limit, but most cars (Octavia included IIRC) have a roof load limit of 75kg, including the roof bars.  So if your roof bars are cheap and heavy, then your useful load limit decreases.  But if they're cheap and light, everyone's a winner :-)

Might be worth a punt at this price! Going to need a set for our bikes.

Just measured the front of my roof rails, its wider than 107cm... or am I measuring wrong?

I got a pair of these last time they were selling them. I'll try to fit them to my car later today if possible and I'll let you know if they fit.

So is this the exact same product as you got? I haven't got my Octavia yet, but at £27 that's dirt cheap and worth a punt compared with the cost of other roof bars!

I can't guarantee that there identical but I got mine from Lidl's for exactly the same price and there made by the same company so I suspect they are the same.

I didn't spot it, i spent 30 mins walking up and down in the Braintree Lidl before asking! Doh!

It says Octavia SW 05> on them.... But not tried them yet.

 

And they weigh 3.25Kg in the packaging still with the keys and everything so i guess maybe 3kg?

Do they look cheap as the price suggests or are they pretty good?

I brought them into work here... everyone says they look good. The make is Brio... not sure if Google brings them up. The protective bits look good too, i doubt they will damage the rails.

I have a Mk2, but the chap in Post no 8 has a mk3. they fit his!

Just purchased some for my MK3 Estate. Won't be able to fit until the weekend. Seem to be pretty good quality for £26.99. Now I need to find a good deal for a bike mount.
