There were other bit and bobs in the car, DVD player, hand bags etc, most likely from a other burglary.

The old bill did tell me that vehicle had also been involved in another burglary Sunday evening, so quite likely they were from that!

Forensics was carried out this afternoon on the Focus, and some nice fresh prints were obtained from both inside the car aswell as behind the number plates when they had put them on how ever long ago.

The suspect had also left a drinks bottle in there which had been used, so DNA was taken from the neck of that.

Unfortunately though results from those won't be produced for another couple of weeks.

They did however find a couple of commemorative coins and ipad case that belonged to myself, so it certainly links them to the burglary

Glad you got it back and I hope they catch the sods that stole it... but even if they do chances are they'll get a slap on the wrists unless they've been in trouble for something similar before. Makes my **** boil stuff like this, you work hard to afford nice cars and houses and some scrotes think they have a right to steal things they can't afford themselves.

They've been involved in at least 3 thefts within the last week or so, so I can imagine they've committed plenty more!

 

Fingers crossed they'll get a bit more than a slap on the wrist for that if and when they're caught!

Yeah, I'm sure they'll be shaking at the thought of a 3 month suspended sentence. Its the most depressing thing about watching these police programs. They invade people's homes, steal everything they can get, wreck someone's pride and joy and the CPS just let them go.

But they won't will they.  Only thing that will stop them is some pain

and the authorites are toothless in that department thanks to the likes 

of that bleeding heart, slack jawed, self appointed do gooder and general

simpering apologist Chakrabarthi woman from Liberty to name just one.

 

IMO they should be flogged in public by the people they've stolen from 

and big photographs of their faces and names put on the side of local

buses marked with THIEF! in large red letters.

Yep totally agree with the tattoo - as well as chop their dirty little mitts off! It's just sooooo good to hear the car has been found in one piece. Next good news will be hearing about the rest of your stuff although it's probably in the local branch of cash converters now having paid for their latest fix.    

 

With regard to your callipers, just give them a good sanding then prime and paint. Should be fine - but remember we want to see piccies!

Just another update. Spoke to the detective in charge of the case again this evening, and unfortunately the criminals are still at large.

There are at least 4 other burglaries since ours around Northamptonshire that the police believe these particular criminals have been involved with. All of these cases have been similar to mine; house burgled, keys taken, driven to workplace and stolen cars!

The police have said though due to the amount of evidence they've received from these last couple of weeks, primarily that found from the car the suspects ditched when they were chased, they're hoping of an arrest soon... how soon though I don't know.

Considering the case is live and bits and pieces keep coming through daily I'm hoping sooner rather than later!

Thank god for dumb chavs who wear dumber baseball caps 

as their lack of style is only matched by their incredible stupidity.

Unfortunately for the UK, these are the people in this country that ARE

breeding. The baseball cap and Adidas tracksuit wearing fag smoking

barely numerate and literate underclass that proliferate our almost civilised

society.  

Sadly they will not have their hands birched until they bleed, any paid benefits stopped until 

damages were paid for in full and then given a forced vasectomy so they can't produce more

like them (because they will..) which would be my way to deal with them.  

Instead they will pay a small fine of about a pound a week for the next twenty years and be

told they are a very naughty boy and promise not to do it again. (Until next time that is...) 

And they will be laughing their way out of court and back out nicking cars before you know it.
