hellooo,

having a nice little issue with my fabia my battery has packed in and ran out so i was just wondering with it being the original battery from 2001 is it better to just replace the battery or should i just get a battery charger? 

 

does anyone have any recommendations on what i should do or get?

No brainer.

Why waste money on a charger, only handy to have one anyway in case you ever drain the battery accidentaly.

 

Thought I was doing well at 9 years on mine, but 13 years is phenominal.

Mine died recently after I went away for 10 days, original battery, charger did no good. Ended up bump starting it to try and charge it up and stalled coming off a busy slip-road onto a round about (i know  ) and it still had no charge! Ended up buying a barely used second hand one off the RAC guy for a tenner.

Bosch from Costco, they're stupidly cheap if you have a local one and a card, same with tyres.
