I have a set of Cruise control stalks from a donor 2004 VRS and would like to fit it to another mk1 Fabia, a 2001 Comfort 1.4 16v.

 

Does anyone know how I go about this?

 

I looked in the technical section and couldn't see anything.

Am I going blind?

I can't see why not as long as you have electric mirrors (i remember that being a prerequisite for adding cc).  Do the brake and clutch have the switches?

You do need VCDS to activate it and you need either a 6Q0 or 6Q1 central electrics ecu (09) if its 6Q2 its not possible without changing that ECU.

You won't have the required wiring. If you want it I'd just get a kit and go from there.

how much will it cost roughly for cruise control? Is it hard to fit? What would it require?
