I will try and go in one of our local newsagents tomorrow and check out the car mags (something I very rarely do nowadays). I suspect "What Car" is about as adventurous as it gets. Not sure where you guys get these exotic marque-specific publications .... have never seen one myself.

Nick, somewhere between the porn on the top shelf and the Women's Cross Stitch Linkword Summer Special at the bottom. The performance car mags fall into two categories generally. You either get a rear 3/4 pic of a car with big wheels, or a tarty bit in skimpy clothing - but that could be FHM or Maxim, so take care!

don't carry this as stock at the mo' as i have never had enough interest, however we have a very close relationship with Ferodo and can normally aquire "special" orders at short notice (i..e next day)

Mine arrived yesterday and I must say that the same questions went through my mind

Ive had it confirmed by Martin Sharp that the magazine is indeed closing unless they can find a buyer etc...

I have been talking to someone I know at IPC Media who is the publisher of CCC.

The mag will cease soon. They are apparently working on a "Best Of CCC" looking back at the Good, Bad & Plainly Daft things they have done over the years.

There will be some casualties, but there are some spaces at other titles within the group, so fingers crossed for all concerned.

PS when I spoke to him last week to ask him he was "Very Surprised" as I knew, it was not common knowledge throughout IPC when it went on here !!
