Another magazine that was worth reading closes....

It would seam a lot of the better magazines aren't able to cope with the likes of Maxpower/fastcar etc -- it's going to get harder and harder to get decent info / reviews / topics .R.I.P Ccc

I can't believe this. That is/was a great magazine. Hope the same fate doesn't hit evo as that is much better to read than lax flower and the like!

I think EVO is current top of the crop -- I didn't think you could read Max Power --- far too many pictures of scantily clad slapper's to be able to read anything.

Think the reason that evo is so good is that most of the testers and editing crew came from performance car magazine.

Also far too many adverts. Only reason I buy now is for the stereo adverts in the back for good audio deals when I need something. Too many Nova and Festa boys for my liking

been going down hill for a little while now............."circuit driver" is my current read, not that much to get involved in but a listing of all track & test days in the back make it worth its weight in gold........!!

Might have to give that one a try. Can't be as bad as most publications at the moment!

Nick, it is/was a good read, some good technical articles that I learnt quite a lot from.

Wonder if Dave Walker will pop up in another mag (don't really thing Lax Bowel is really his style). also can't help wondering what will happen to the subscription I got for xmas.

Shame that... I used to enjoy CCC and even still have the freebie key ring they gave away about ten years ago!

Makes me wonder about The Golf magazine also..........
