TERKINS TDI new wheels :)

TERKIN

Recommended Posts

so got another one lol was unsure if i was keeping this as it was just an emergency purchase as it was cheap and needed some wheels. driving it is so easy loving diesels now days and touching 65mpg at times is just mega!

im planning on keeping it for sometime, but like most octys i own will probably kill it :|

elegance 110bhp ASV so goes along nicely

has some mods :dull:

tints

vrs steering wheel and gaiter

full vrs frontend(sitting lower at the front now still gotta get backs)

312mm brakes Uprated discs and ds2500 pads

lightened(rust)

plans dunno yet run for a while as is to make sure its sweet :peek:

may change wheels or spray them darker colour not to sure yet, take the amp and head unit out of other octy.

vrs interior of course

may try a black smoke remap, could try bodging on my 1.8t fmic lol maybe a decat lol

body work good overall but bit dodgy in places have given it a quick clean up not perfect as run out off filler and got bored.

not sure if i should go black grill

man life story  :notme:  pics lol

How did you go about repairing the rust? Looks a decent job tbh

used a rotary and detailer sander, cant remember grits lol bit of hand work. treated it then skimmed with filler i did run out so few marks left. primer and paint still needs a polish yet to get a perfect blend

I owe you an apology, its not silver.. It did look silver in the 1st pic you sent me.. but that looks like a decent base mate, and fair play on rust treatment, done a decent job of that too. I think some better alloys would suit it, especially once it lowered on its arse.

Good work anyway mate!!!

Agree think body colour would look better.

What did you use on the seat fabric? as I want to do the door cards and I'm struggling to find a durable product.

its just a matt black paint :peek: its lasting well so far the seats took alot to get a good black colour nearly 4cans,doorcards alot less as it didnt soak in.

Seats still looking good [emoji106]

A valeter told me to use the spay on carpet dye the when it's dry seal it with supaguard fabric spray. I'm not convinced that would work on the seats. Think your black spray would be better.

Which paint did you use?
