Dennis Horton Skoda Lincoln - bad experience

Recommended Posts

I spotted some wheels/tyres on eBay for sale from this dealer.  I rang them up, agreed a price and then organised transport to pick them up, meaning my son lost a days pay.  The day before collection I received a phone call saying that "the sales manager had used the wheels on his own car not knowing they were for sale" and I wouldn't be able to have them. This was a lie as I found out what actually happened is that they forgot to remove the item from eBay and someone else bought them.  Sadly the owner Oliver Horton doesn't want to know.

I thought about taking legal action as a legal verbal contract had been agreed but decided I don't need the hassle.

Just a warning though, if this is how they treat customers then it might be better avoiding them.
