Got my new Yeti Butttt

Featured Replies

It's only a piggyback fuse! Nothing gets damaged no wires of car cut in to easy to remove leaving car as it was before hand!!!

From the French Yeti I looked at, the display is exactly the same as the British model.

The dash display unit (speedo, MFD, rev counter) is a common VAG fitment and is certainly the same as in the Tiguan we were loaned whilst my car was being repaired, and was also in our French friends Tiguan.

Presumably the speedo is calibrated in kph, though? (Sorry, maybe a stupid question.)

The Golf we rented in Italy last year showed the set speed for the cruise control on the MFD.  AFAIK you can't get that on the Yeti MFD even via VCDS (although I'd be happy to hear if anyone knows different).

I thought the european car had an option in the setup to change the KPH digital display to mph for trips to the UK. I thought the big gripe was that we have to have kph displayed all the time and yet our friends across the channel don't have to worry about having mph displayed on their dash unless they actually visit the UK, when they turn it on like we have to alter the headlight dip when we cross the channel?

I've asked the skoda garage about reprogramming (hoping customer satisfaction comes in to play, although I'm prepared to pay).

Sounds like I may be turned away on legal grounds.

Off topic, do the reverse lights have there own fuse?

I need to potentially connect an aftermarket RVC, but don't want to splice, just piggyback?
