Another boot liner topic...

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, been a while since I've been on here. Picked up my 140 4x4 a few months ago and I've been thrilled with it. I know there's a lot of boot liner threads and I think I've read all of them!

We have two Husky's so have the back seats almost permanently removed or rolled forward to give them decent space whilst still having a few bits in the boot. Can anyone recommend a liner that can deal with the seats being in both up, rolled and removed positions?

Thanks in advance - and sorry if I missed anything already said about this.

The hatchbag ones are about as close as Ive seen. I had a standard one for my yeti and its was very good. In fact I got one for the octavia now too as I was that impressed.

Thanks shrops_paul - I'll take a look!

Yes, a Hatchbag is the way to go, if you ring them they will be happy to discuss your options. I bought one for our Yeti, we have a spare wheel kit which isn't a problem, I also went for the split seat option, the flap that goes over the top of the back seats & the flap which protects the bumper (not that the wife uses it!!).

With the seats rolled forward the flap that covers the top of the seats goes up the metalwork on the seat base but is not long enough to totally cover the seats.

In hindsight I wished I had asked them for a wider strip of vinyl so it would tuck over the top of the seats & wedge between the folded rear seats & the front seats. Hope that makes sense!!

You could also consider the Over-The-Top boot liner. I've had several Hatchbags and been pleased with them but for the Yeti went with OTT. Like Hatchbag each boot liner is custom made for a specific make/model but the OTT liners come as separate pieces for floor, seat back and sides, held together with velcro strips. I've had mine over a year, the dogs come out with us every day and so far it is showing no sign of wear. It's quite a bit more expensive than a Hatchbag but I think looks smarter and because it is several components (and you can order any extra bits as you feel you might need) it may be more versatile to meet the two options you describe.
