OK, question for the experts...

 

At the moment when I unlock the car with the remote it only opens the drivers door, I then need to press twice to open the others... Am I correct in saying I can alter this to open all doors with one click in the MAXIDOT? 

 

If so how do I do it? 

 

I have read the handbook and it looks to be in the options

I've changed mine to unlock all the doors with one click.  It's somewhere in Maxidot, but I can't remember exactly where! 

Think you just untick an option in yhe MAXIDOT menu if I read it correctly

Go to main menu - settings - convenience - central locking - door unlocking.

You'll find plenty more other options in the maxidot too.

That setting (along with most in maxidot) should be specific to each key fob as well.  So, for example, you could have one key opening one door only and the other fob opening all doors.

Ahhh,,, that may answer this, the dealer asked me how I wanted it too unlock, I said all doors with one click, maybe they only did one key, and I am using the other:)

It's a pain having a load of settings specific to each key.  Is there a setting to make settings apply to all keys?

Just checked the other key, and it looks like the dealer forgot to change it Will sort it at the weekend

Hi Stuart you may already know this but whilst you are in 'knowledge' mode if when opening the door with the key fob, hold down the button for a few seconds all the windows will open great for the warm weather, also use the door closing button gold it down and it will close all the open windows. There is also setting in the maxi dot to allow you to select window close if it rains whilst the windows are open. Cleaver stuff hey :0)

 Yeah, I found that one, think it was already set up, I found it out when I held the key by mistake Lol

The auto rain closing is awesome. Have only had the guts to do it as a test with a dribble of water from a jug though.

When using the key fob, press and hold the lock function will also fold in the mirrors and if you have a sunroof, close it as well. There are so many little discoveries with these cars as many of them are undocumented in the manuals.
