Your post isn't working btw!

Driving along and a fabia 2 veered diagonally into us head on, reckon combined speed was 70 ish,

All ok baby was in the back so he was biggest concern, car seat did it's job well though, few scraps on limbs and broken pair of glasses, had to climb out of the window to get out so I could check he was ok

It will polish out :D

I retract my first post after seeing that. I do apologise, wasn't aware it was this serious. I hope you and the family are ok!!!

Ah no worries fella,

Yeah seeing a car heading for you with no where to go is scary, as is airbags in your face, got as far over to the barrier trying to avoid it but no escape, and the roof is linked so think it's proper broken

So any ideas on why they decided to try and kill you? Who was in the other car?

Crikes! Glad to hear all ok though.

An elderly lady, dunno what happened fire service had to chop her door off and she went off in an ambulance,

Insurance company annoyed me, more interested in getting me through to solicitors for a claim than sorting my claim and getting my courtesy car

Wow!I'd have gone 'king spastic if that was mine!

Hope you and family are OK!!

Chris'will sort it

Glad everyones Ok

Don't know whats happened here, but the first post has gone weird, and when I removed the duplicate threads.

Glad to hear everyone is ok, it does go to show though that despite being nearly 10 years old the MK1 Fabia is very good in a quiet severe accident.

For anyone reading, its not Dans Fabia thats been killed.

Looks like it held up well though!

Glad the baby is all ok :)

Seen a few posts like this recently where the first one just disappears! Strange

Yeah it felt worse inside than it looks from the outside, will not buy a car with less than 4star NCAP after seeing this,

It came up with a strange error and appeared to not have posted, hence why I did it again once or twice

Nasty :(

Glad to hear your ok.

Old woman could have had a funny turn,a car is a dangerous object if the driver is not in control.

Where did it happen?

That's what I thought, it was buildwas near telford, road was closed off for a good while

Glad you and the family are ok, especially the little one. The police may well give her the option of giving up her licence if its found she was to blame (I.e. no mechanical failures) as she'll probably be looking at driving without due care or doing a driver improvement course. Can't see them not taking some form of action because of the chaos she caused.

Yeah I was wondering that, was trying to press them as to what other people said happened but they weren't very giving with information, I bet if it was the other way around they would want to charge me,

Had to do a breathalyser too, guess it's procedure but seemed a bit annoying as we were just trying to get out if the way

Also if you zoom in you can see at the top of the alloy two spokes have broken!

Gutted for you mate. But at least you all got out alright. Could of been a hell of a lot worse.

Aye ditto this! For the damage and heartbreak of it all the car is replaceable family and life isn't.

Forget the car whether it cost £50 or £50k, 10-12 inches further over and it would be a complete different story.
