Mk2 Fabia Modifications (some suitable for Mk1 Octy and Fabia)

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Need to retype this as I managed to delete my own thread.

Ok, so my car is being returned to stock prior to sale.  It generally gets pampered and looked after very well, pride and joy etc, same goes for all the parts that go on it.

Most of the listed parts were bought new and at the oldest are little more than 12 months and 10kmiles old.  Those that were not bought new came from brisky members and all v good condition.

Seat Leon Cupra R Brembo 323mm Brake kit (full kit ready to bolt on to the cars mentioned) - £550.00

This kit had a full refurb not very long ago and the red powdercoat is in excellent condition, the kit comes with 4 month old EBC Ultimax Slotted 323mm discs (black coating is obviously no longer on the contact face but is still protecting the rest of the disc), HEL Braided Brake lines, a set of PAGID OEM Spec pads with loads of life left in them, a set of EBC redstuff low dust ceramic pads, these were only on the car for four weeks as I took them on track and thought I killed them, on revision it turned out to be bubbled paint, so almost as new.  Stopped great on track but run very well for road also if you wanted to keep a set of DS2500 for track work.

These give hugely increased stopping power, bags of confidence, nice modulation and feel through the pedal.  I ran them with ATE Super Blue Fluid and they were pretty much fade free on a Fabia.

Below photos from when these were fitted back in April

H&R Rear Anti Roll Bar - £120 (provisional offer made on this)

Probably the best handling modification going for the Mk2 Fabia, complete set, good condition, bought from new

Set of Spacers 15mm FK Front Spacers and 17mm H&R Rear Spacers - £80.00 (provisional taker for these)

Complete with extended bolts, both sets lightweight hubcentric.

ITG Maxogen Intake for 1.4tsi Twincharge Engines - £150.00

You only need to go search 'intake' in the Mk2 section, to know what this is.  My car ran 184bhp stock and 213bhp Stage 1 with this fitted - both on Awesome GTI's rollers.  I am offering in the kit a new replacement heatproof ducting pipe in red that I was planning to fit on my own car for improved heat protection and better aesthetics in the engine bay.  Comes complete with original box and certificate of authenticity.  This has been on other members vRS' but is still in great condition and with the new ducting will look the part as well as perform.  These don't often come up second hand and have an RRP of £300.00

Vibratechnics VAG220m lower engine mount. - £80.00

I highly rate this modification, makes the car much more responsive transferring engine torque far more positively to the drive train, DSG changes come quicker and sharper, I think my car was noticeably quicker accelerating from standstill and low speeds with this fitted.  Even if that doesn't have stopwatch proof, it makes the car much more involving and entertaining.

A great selection of Mods up for grabs here! I have an ITG induction kit on my VRS and absolutely love it. Really allows the 1.4TSI to breathe and respond better. Proven gains from stock. A real bargain.

Of course, but I think Ally is pretty firm on taking these.

Regardless you officially now have second dibs.

Taking into account that the Brembo's are quite a big investment, I would be willing to hear (sensible) offers on these.

These are advertised elsewhere, but I would prefer to see these end up on a members project car.

Does it go onto an estate??

Yep, would do!

Hi, interested in the RARB, could you let me know what it would cost to have it posted?

Cheers

Ben

My PM's are up and running again now.

I'd ballpark delivery at £10-15 depending on how I package the RARB up, it's an awkward shape.

In case anyone was finger wagging, I also refreshed my freedom membership which I had forgotten about.

:)

If I can get delivery at a good rate I'd include that in the price.

Hi, those are pretty fancy lifts you have popping up out of the ground,

can you tell me anything about them?

good luck with the sale
