I subscribe to quite a few car manufactures regional areas on Twitter, this arrived today, a picture of a Skoda from India claiming to be a Rapid... I decided to check Skoda India...

I though that as well... 

Indian Rapid has been around a lot longer than the EU version, its basically a Fabia MK2 with a boot and different interior.

They also had the Skoda Laura which was an EU Octavia MK2, but they could not call it Octavia because they were still seilling the Octy MK1.

On the UK version of the Rapid there is no boby work between the lights and the bonnet. On the Indian version there is

And there's a good deal more differences between the two, yep looks like a Fabia front, grill surrond, fog lights etc etc.

I keep looking at the front of my Rapid and thinking how much better it would look if their were uprights colour coded next to the fog lights on the lower grill. as on the Fabia for example.
