Have you got any pictures? Looking for front and rear covers.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but am looking for rear seat covers to protect my new seats from the perils of young kids and car seats. Any recommendations?

I use Titan Seat Covers on my MKII FL Octy Scout. £40 for front pair, and £40 for both rear seat covers.

They are really good quality and a reasonable fit. Unfortunately they do not do a tailor fit, so I will be looking to getting the rear covers tailored to accommodate the split/fold rear bench.

Possibly looking at getting slots put in front seats to accommodate a headrest coat hanger and seat tidy/travel desk thingymabob.

The website states the covers are for Skoda Octavia 2004 onwards, but I'd send them an email to confirm they would fit an Octy MkIII.

I have this one here as a cover for the seat to avoid damage from the childseat, as well as damage when the little one slides out of the seat when getting out. Works fine on my Scirocco and Octavia:

Then to protect the back of the front seat from the dirty shoes..I take off the boys shoes ;-) but I also have this:

and this: http://www.lilliputiens.be/uk/7256-car-organiser.html?

The fact that the headrest is fixed to the seat on the VRS makes it a tad difficult to fit (it works better in the Scirocco) but still useful.

I'm still looking for something to protect the driver and passenger seats and the above doesn't do the trick ;-)

My waiting time was 5 weeks...

You can expect them to be expensive, but a lovely Finnish.  :giggle:

Why would you want to put covers on the seats?

To avoid them getting wrecked in daily use. I sometimes work in adverse environments and have ti be very careful about getting into my nice heated alcantata seats..... I use a quick non-tailored cover, but can see the benefits of having tailored ones.

To protect the seats, obviously.

I am usually very careful with my car but some other people are not: my old car had some paint stains on the passenger seat from a carpenters trousers.

Obviously. Just don't let scruffy people in your car. I think the seats are one of the nicest things about the VRS. it's a shame to cover them

there's a company over here can trim your seat in clear PVC, seen alot of it on the taxis. You get to keep the vRS looks and keep the chunder off that Alcantara!

We have cheapo seat covers for when the dog is in the car. When my VRS was new I took it to a local detailing company for their new car protection detail. Part of that was applying a nano coating to the seats. I thought at the time it might be a bit 'snake oil' but there's been a few occasions where it seems to have earned its keep. The noat notable being my mate phoning me at work to tell me it looked like his lunch had leaked out of his bag on my seat, turns out it was a curry his mrs had made. I raced back to the car which was sat in the sun and opened the door and the smell hit me straight away. I had a small bottle of water and a cloth, cleaned the seat down and left it. Came back 8 hours later, no smell, no stains, nothing. Im getting another VRS and when it arrives its going in for the same treatment!
