I got the work done by The Seat Surgeons[/url'] who are based in york, and about 20 meters from where I work so I watched them do it. They are very helpful and the service was excellent, highly recommended.

This time last year, The Seat Surgeons were a trade-only outfit, who circulated every Skoda dealer with details of their products - so your Skoda dealer will have colour swatches and a designs brochure etc (you don't need to tell them that you'll go direct!).

Good to see them dealing direct and dropping the price as a result. Impressed with the fitting time, too - mine took over a day to complete.

I'd have gone for paler door panels, though, to make the car feel roomier inside.

IMHO I think red would look good in a black car. What other colour leather would?

I fancy black leather sides with blue alcantara centre panels and door cards. It looks good in the Subarus

The red leather in the centres might look really nice! I chose the colour scheme I did because a) I like the stealth look as if it came from the factory that way, and they had a VRS seat in the store which was covered in the same way so I could see it in the flesh before I bought.

As for blue, I would advise against it as it is quite a light blue when you see it in front of you, and IMO wouldnt look right. Plus I think you should stick to the VRS colour scheme, ie red or green.

He says pricing is tight as I expected because the price is already signifcantly lower than most trimmers.

I really REALLY love Harry's seats, but I'd have to keep the vRS logos in the OEM locations, or it would drive be barmy. As they cannot stitch the logo on perforated leather, I think this is a nice alternative.

White stitching or black stichings? Heart says white, head says black... The main reason for doing this is ease of keeping them clean. White stitching could possibly get mucky as quickly as the white cloth seats... :rubchin: If only Harrys didn't look so god damn nice!

White is the way forward I think - and the charcol leather is nicer than full black.
