The Skoda one or the Maxton one?

It was the Maxton type so I looked it up for the Rapid. The DTM type also looks good on Superskoda but a little more expensive. The Maxton one is a screw on type and DTM is bonded.

That looks really smart. Would finish off the front end nicely.

Just an off topic question. Have you looked at the rear wings on superskoda? As I do feel it also needs one of them to finish off the back end. And is the standard on fitted in the sport just bonded on?

The little lip spoiler is just bonded on.

Thx, couldn't make an opinion of that one. Didn't realize that it was the same. :-)

My dealer can order me one :-)  However, item is on back order.

that's interesting because both my dealer and SUK told me this item is not available to order for the UK !

how difficult can it be to get it from overseas.

1. My daughter wanted a particular gold nokia - none in the UK - bought online in France.

2. Her brother wanted limited edition leather Converse all-stars ( from 2 years ago) - found last pair in his size in stock in Tucson, Arizona.

both shipped to the UK cheaper than buying here :)

"not available in the UK" is not a problem with the internet.

They can order as I got a boot net which isn't available over here.

that maybe the case but try to order from The Skoda e-Shop and there's no Shipping to the UK ! which is why I contacted my dealer and SUK about it. I would prefere the genuine Skoda Splitter which I havn't found on the 'Internet' !

It's the one referred to in post #24.

Post 24 is the one from Skoda e-shop!

OK so it took 10 whole minutes out of my life on the "Thank you God for the Internet" but the part you want is in stock at Autohaus Habinghorst in Germany for 209euro (+ delivery I guess).

you're welcome :)

all the official websites do say it should only be fitted with the boot lip spoiler as well.

great,  thanks camelspyyder... and this is the one fitted to the Rapid as illustrated on the front of the UK edition brochure!

with this design it seems painting it to match the car is best, I can't now decide if the Monte Carlo one in black would be better?

The Skoda ones are bonded on and the others are screwed on which I'd prefer.
