Vinyl opinions? Rapid sport

Featured Replies

I thought tinted headlights were an option on Spaceback or Black Edition already?

And I've just seen the fancy Xenon headlights described as optional in Skoda Ireland's Spaceback brochure. Worth a look.

Natalie do you have a pic of rear with black badge. Considering this myself and already have black grille. Front looks great BTW.

I'm also considering black roof. Would be sprayed though . not a fan of vinyl.

Cheers. I think I'm gonna do it and if I don't like it I'll buy some of the new gloss finish Skoda badges....

This will be happening when its warmer I might add!

superskoda do a carbon one as well

Vinyl is the way to go, it takes a fraction of the time, costs less, looks the same and can be reversed. It's a no brainer...

Guys, just a couple of tips for those of you looking to wrap things your self... Be careful what vinyl your buying, the vinyl from ebay, most of it is cheap rubbish, not cast and not automotive wrap grade, you'll just make your life difficult from the get go...

You need to be looking at CAST automotive vinyl films, preferbly air release, as it will aid you during the fitting process, I'd recommend looking for KPMF wrap films for your applications, they offer great quality gloss and matte vinyls WITH air release, and its a lot cheaper than most other films, you can use non air release but to be frank, on large areas you'll really struggle, get an air release if you can, and always remember to reheat your work In the areas you have stretched/manipulated the material, and tight corners, you need to hear the viny to around 120-130 degrees, this will set the vinyls memory properties, if you need any more help guys give me a shout.

Hmm €80 plus postage for 2 Skoda badges. [emoji33] think I'll paint the ones that came free with my car [emoji106]

LOL.......

That's the brochure pic. I thought mine would look like that when I picked it up.

But as with all skoda's enough room for a family of pigeons to fit under the arch !!!!

Seat do this too. photoshop the wheels on publicity shots. In the Toledo brochure the wheels all look at least an inch bigger and the tyres more.  mine has 17's with huge arch gaps in reality but the factory pics of those rims look like they've stuffed 235/50R18's in with nothing to spare.
