First post, #ThePearl arrives Weds - my first Skoda! L&K, moon white, all options ticked except Columbus and rear camera (not available at time of order).

Piccys to follow then.....

Nice one, not a colour I've seen, even an image of one in so looking forward to it.

Looking forward to seeing this too. Mine's on order (1.4 TSI SE estate) and is also moon white, though mine's not going to be delivered until the end of January apparently due to factory issues (ordered 7th July 2014). :dull:  Enjoy yours!

Excellent! Hatch? Estate? DSG? 4x4?

It will be a very close spec to mine then but I have specced Columbus and Camera. Have you got the 3 spoke steering wheel as well?

No columbus? that would be the first thing I ticked not because i have a great need for nag but because the screen in the mk3 is just too small and looks a bit daft.

Really looking forward to it. Comimg from a Mondy (which has been just excellent) but have always wanted a Skoda, I love the brand. It's a manual saloon, 2.0TDi. Had to choose between sunroof and Columbus due to budget - the sun won :-). I don't think the 3 spoke was an option for l&k at the time either so have the standard l&k wheel.

Manual estate, no options. It's a motability car and with the equipment SE comes with it'd have been a waste of money to add anything extra since I don't own the car. The dealer has offered us a race blue DSG with the same specs otherwise (i.e. 1.4TSI SE estate), which I admit tempted me. Waiting seven months for a car is a bit of mickey take when it's a bog standard model with no extras. A VRS I'd kind of understand but an off the shelf middle of the road model, not so much. I only waited 5 weeks for a top of the range fully kitted out Astra, and four weeks for a Mondeo. Seven months is starting to tire my patience lol.

The DSG I drove was pretty decent and although very different it was nice overall. It felt much more sedate and not as involving as a manual though, even in tiptronic mode. I also found it a little jerky at times when the box got confused, and it put me off somewhat. I am starting to get tempted to just take it, but I think I'd only regret it longer term, especially considering what it's costing us for the duration of the lease (plus £1k down).

Looking forward to seeing your pics, it'll steel my resolve to wait on the white one lol :p

Very sharp, great shot of her.

Looks really nice in that colour, it suits it well, good choice!

Looks sweet very nice and love the wheels

That's a very good looking motor! That pic really shows the Moon colour which makes Candy look a bit flat. I like the wheels too.

Really nice mate, it's reaffirmed my colour choice for sure. I'll look forward to seeing more and your impressions of living with it in time. Cheers.

These wheels look great!

Vrs chromed exausts wouldnt hurt either :p

Nice choice of white. Don't see many white cars now

Can these wheels be ordered from somewhere?

I'm sure Mr Skoda can help you through the parts dept. brace yourself, they could be expensive!

Thanks all the comments. Been living with the car a few days now and have to say I love it,  just very impressed by it. Still not had much of a chance to do pictures but one more attached here anyway. As a slight aside I overtook another white 64 plate octy yesterday and we both smiled and thumbs up :-) - what a friendly bunch the Skoda community are! :-)

I'm still BW42 - loving those Turbine alloys, can hardly wait!

Are you standard or sports suspension?

Sorry, one question - what do the lights underneather the rear view mirror indicate please?

If you mean the green LED, then that means you have the auto dimming mirrors turned on

I'd have had the columbus over a sun roof. Last time I had a car with a sun roof must have only used it twice in 4 years of ownership

Standard suspension

Cool - thought it looked about the same ride height as my current Elegance.
