I haven't yet.

Must do the Rapid too [emoji106]

I got a secondhand tax disc holder from work, it fell off after a while and never bothered putting it back on

Bet majority of people will just wait till tax runs out then remove

I got bored at the roadside so ripped it off

Took it out but it's staying in the glovebox just in case :)

Just in case of what?

I have two 1953 motorbikes and have just got hold of some 1953 tax discs to put in the holders. Might get one for the Citigo!

Sticky Stuff cleaner from Lakeland.

I'm keeping mine on for a bit, I like the bit on it, next to the £ sign, it says " NIL "

Removed mine at 7:00 on the 1st. Wonder if shares in Richbrook have took a dive lol.

Interestingly, we bought a new motor on Saturday, and the dealer stuck a new dealer-branded holder in the windscreen saying "you'll still need to display your disc until it runs out" and I was thinking both "muppet" and "damn more glass to clean".

I really need to start focusing on the road alot more again rather than looking at each car that comes past on the other side of the road seeing if anyone has actually remove it yet....  :D

On my other car it says £260, I keeping that on as well, to get my monies worth out of it :notme:

Lol! I've been doing that too. Not spotted one car yet without a tax disc!

I seem to be the only one around my way without the tax disc.

I've taken my tax disc out today I'm just waiting for the miserable git that lives opposite to say something lol

Mine is staying in as it says 'disabled' and Nil on it so I will not have to pay in some car parks locally.  Until someone convinces me that the parking Nazis have ANPR so won't ticket me for non payment it stays.

To remove the glue from the old holders use WD40, it will remove the glue with ease.

I don't understand the reportedly-widespread panic and ignorance about all this. I thought everyone just waited for the automatic disc reminder from the DVLA anyway and then either paid online or trotted down to the post-office. That's not going to change. We all know the police have been using ANPR for years to enforce this as it also catches the uninsured, the only real difference is not having the physical certificate any more.

...Or maybe this was all whipped up by certain sections of the media in "absence" of any real story?
