Adrian, your posts are random and very brief. If you want "proper" answers you will have to be more verbose. Or risk being labelled as a Troll!

What is "op ex"?

Op Ex = Optional Extra??

Just a guess. I would imagine he means the exhaust tips rather than a full system?

But, like Fred says, with such brief posts it's a bit difficult to tell!

Ok, if what you're asking is has anyone had s/s exhaust pipes fitted post buying their car then I can confirm that I've had my 2.0 110ps diesel's "double-pipes" done. However, it wasn't an option when I ordered my pre-FL monster, so I bought the stainless steel ones from Superskoda for 29.99 euros (along with some other stuff at the time to offset p+p costs). As I didn't feel confident applying a hacksaw to my exhaust, I got my local Skoda dealer to fit them. They charged me £45, so by the time I'd added this cost to the price of the s/s pipes, I wouldn't have saved much if I'd ordered it on a FL model from new. Note that the service department team said that due to risk of scorching the bumper (or paintwork?) when cutting the existing exhaust pipes, they had to put the car on a ramp and "lower" the exhaust, hence the time taken and subsequent £45 charge.

I'm sure there was a post on here recently that suggested there's a new version of the chromed exhaust tips that don't require any modification to the existing pipes (i.e. you just knock them on with a rubber mallet).

I bought some of the old versions from a Skoda garage and got my local (independent) Skoda specialist to stick them on when the car was in for a service.

The standard exhaust tips polish up nicely with a bit of autosol.  Worth trying if you're on a budget or don't want to attack your tail pipes with a hacksaw.
