Does anyone have an idea of how much it will cost to have my vRS rear spoiler resprayed? Haven't contacted the local paint blowers yet for estimates. Trying to get a rough idea of costs.

Is it off the car.?   Is it to refinnish / Prepare & Paint,  because lacquer is coming off?   Is it a Colour Change? 

Is it a Solid or Metallic?

The piece of 'string' is dimensioned thus:

Colour is silver

Spoiler still on car (but I can easily remove it)

Laquer is completely sh@gged on top

Paint below discolouring

Fully rub down & prep required, colour coat and topcoat

Easily 1/2 dozen paint shops nearby

I'm having mine done tomorrow for £70 + VAT. I have just taken it off to drop it off on the way to the office. Just came straight off after undoing the 4 bolts.

They wanted £105 + VAT to take it off and put back on after re-laquering, hence why I've just done it!

Im hoping to get a price this week for mine,i too will remove mine & drop it off at the bodyshop. 

Cost me £159 all in for removal, paint and re-fitting.

No, should just be a re-laquer hopefully.

Unfortunately not. You may get away with a flat down,re colour and lacquer. But really needs to be primed.

I dropped my spoiler off today for painting,its going to cost me £120 all inc,mine needs rubbing down & a full repaint all over. Will be ready mid week for me to collect. 

I got 2 quotes for full respray of the spoiler (off the car):

£135 + vat

£120 + vat (inc help to refit)

All done and back on. Much better!

 

I picked my spoiler up today from the painters & fitted it this afternoon,top job done,looks great,happy to have the spoiler back on.....the vrs looks naff without one fitted.
