Insurance for a remapped (now 170BHP) Mk1 Skoda Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have a Skoda Fabia (MK1) VRS that was remapped to 170BHP (so more than 10% of the factory original). Being the honest motorist that I am, I hunted around and could only find one insurer that will insure my car as is: Flux Direct. Helpful though they were, there was a load of restrictions lumped on my policy and I want to ensure I talk to other insurers to make sure I get a good enough deal.

Suggestions made have been sky insurance, Elephant and Admiral named as possibles, can you offer any other alternatives?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Please try Briskoda Insurance, the club's preferred provider. 170bhp doesn't sound very high at all and I'm not sure what restrictions would have been placed on your policy.

We'd be happy to give you a quote for comparison.

Best,

Nick

Hi,

What sort of restrictions were there on the policy? If you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to take a look into it for you.

Regards,

Dan.
