Got the octy re mapped at star performance the other day.... i was taking my kid's to see relatives a few miles away from said tuner ...thought the wife who is a very conservative alfa romeo driver would not notice the urgency about the car WRONG she went out for milk today and when she came home said "so fly man where were you yesterday" at which my three year old answered "we went to the fast car place mummy" did a hell of a bit of sweet talking and have spent the rest of the day preparing to paint the hall which, at its highest point is about 15ft .....she has come round to the re map though and had a bit of a grin when she came home in it later on this evening

Mine said "if you wanted a sports car why diddnt you buy one?"

swmbo just rolled her eyes and asked what i'm going to waste my money on next?

Why is it that we get accused of wasting money, but how many pairs of shoes has your "other half" got? Mine has dozens and some have never even been worn! :eek:

Mine got annoyed when I bought lowering springs. I've sold them now. But imagine the hassle I'd have if I got mine remapped? All hell would break loose.

As my misses hasn`t got a clue about anything to do with cars, all she`ll say is "It seems a bit qicker". And all i have to say is "I have put super unleaded in, and that makes all the difference".

There is one benefit of SWMBO not having a license (yet ) - she'd kill me if I got it remapped, but then she doesn't need to know.

The tweaks I've got on order should transform the car over time - Just need to get my finances sorted properly and then the rest will follow
