Head unit change ?

Has anybody changed there head unit yet to non OEM ?

Not yet and at first I didn't want to but would interested in seeing what is needed to do it and keep the visual parking display, steering controls and keep the mdi (USB/aux)

Going aftermarket will lose all integration with the car, so no parking display, or MDI etc. Also if you use the headunit to alter any car settings this will also be lost.

Is it feasible to upgrade to Columbus (SEAT Media 3.2)

Yes there has been someone on here who has fitted a Columbus. Also s straight plug and play plus a little tweeking with vcds [emoji106]

i did some research and found that Alpine unit can be integrated with Skoda system (mfsw, etc)
