Boot liner with sides

Featured Replies

Hi, does anyone know of a boot liner that also comes up at the back and sides?

Thanks

JC

For an estate mate?

Got mine from I think Titan Covers, goes all the way up the back of the seats and at least 30cm up the sides, perfect for the doggies!

You can find them on ebay.

Cost about 65 quid but worth every penny.

Is this the one you got http://ebay.eu/1u8uFwV? Do you have the Canton sub in the left side of the boot? If so, does it fit fine?  The Hatchbag.co.uk ones that GreatDane linked to look awesome, except they specifically say they don't fit with the Canton box.

I asked Hatchbag if they did one for variable boot floor and canton and they said no, and they were unlikely to do one as there wouldn't be enough demand.

I'll take a look at the ebay one though :)

Ha, I just sent them an email asking the same thing, although mine will be without variable floor. Which I guess is their point - too many sku's for one car! Shame, they look fantastic. I'm almost tempted to get one and cut out the space for the Canton box. Should be able to get a local canvas stitcher to tidy it up around the cut.

I do have Canton with the sub on the left. Because of that it doesn't fit exactly but well enough for my primary need which is to keep it away from the dogs!

Mence, any chance of some pictures?

Another vote for hatchbag. I had one in my old Yeti and there's one in the Octavia II now for the dog. Great quality & fit. They are sometimes made to order tho so can take a while to be delivered. Ive not one one in my Octavia III tho as its not for the dog :)

I had a "boot buddy" for my old car. Was pretty good.

Andy,

Were you able to find a good boot liner which allowed for the raised Canton sub woofer ?

I thought the one on eBay was actually quite good overall with benefit of a flap to lay down over the bumper.  I also thought it was quite a bit cheaper than Hatchbag.

I did my own search but have not yet found anything better than the Titan model.

+1 for hatch bag. Don't worry about cutting it. I cut slits in my previous one to access the lashing point - never frayed or ripped.

Not yet, no

I'm thinking of getting the standard Skoda plastic tray, but might change my mind yet :)

This is my Rhino in a vRS estate without variable floor. Sides and rear upright sections come fastened to the floor section by Velcro strips, and more Velcro behind the upright sections "sticks" them to the car trim. As you see, I prefer not to do that more than I can help so use hooks and loops on the headrests. All works well, and has a bumper-covering flap shown in the pic too. Downside is the cost, at £156 which included a further Velcro fastened extension (not shown) for when the rear seats are down.

Its not only expensive, but from personal experience I can say that their customer service leaves a great deal to be desired.

I bought skodas original plastic thingy! According to Skoda will not fit with variable boot floor. But it fits like a glove even with canton system and it gives little more boom to the base!

I assume your boot liner covers the Canton sub woofer so does it have any impact on the sound coming from the boot ?

I saw a universal one on EBay for less than £7.00 inc P&P. Thought it was worth a punt. It fits where it touches, stop most dog hairs, ideal for carting garden rubbish. It'll do me..

I've got an Audi A6 rigid boot liner in my hatchback. It's snug but fits well. I bought it for a 2010 A6 Avant and had it in my Octavia EST II and it fits the Mk III as well.

Hi All, I have the Boot buddy in my Ltd Edition VRS estate and will be ordering the same for my new VRS when it arrives in March. Its been in my car for 5 years and can be installed and removed in seconds. As its solid plastic its bullet proof, you just need a non slip matt inside so the dog doesnt look like a pinball when driving round bends. You can actually get additonal extras like bumper guards etc for them and extenders for when seats are down (good for the fishing kit).

Looking forwrd to havign two VRS's on the dirve........

Hi.

Having a nose in Auto Express yesterday while swmbo was shopping. There was a group test of about 10 popular boot liners. Should be right up your street   , there were a couple of issues, one normal and a special, not sure which it was in though.
