Hi All,

How do I remove the windscreen water reservoir from my 1.9 Octavia turbo diesel.

Dennis

Most likely the seal at the bottom of the washer pump or the pump itself. Mk1 or mk2 Octavia?

Think you'll need to remove the front lights & bumper to get it out.

You might get at it by removing the undertray, but I doubt you'll get it out that way.

If it's a mk2 ...undo 8 t25 torx screws on osf lower wheel arch trim. Remove trim. Undo 2 ten mm nuts at bottom of bottle. Undo one 10 mm bolt at the top. Remove washer pump from the bottom. Withdraw the washer bottle from the bottom. .... no need to remove headlights or bumper.

Belated thanks FLAPPERJACK7.  Worked a treat.

Your welcome happy new year.

FLAPPERJACK7 Hoping the answer to this question is yes...like the OP we're having problems with accessing the washer bottle/pump...we've been told it would need the dash etc. removing to do it. Our skoda is an Octavia 1.8 auto estate 2004. Are the above instructions transferrable??

Hi quite similar yes. Remove osf wheel and inner wheel arch trim. You will be able to see the pump. Get a new seal if your replacing the pump .
