Replacing OEM stereo unit with a sat nav/display, help?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a monte carlo and i know some come with a built in sat nav and radio display unit but mine didn't and was wondering how i would get an after market one which has a sat nav and radio etc.? I tried looking on Argos but no joy, should i look at halfords? Do they even sell these types of units?

Thank you

Best place is to have a browse on eBay. Lots of different units on there to choose from. You should be able to pick up an official Skoda unit on there for your car. Amundsen or Columbus one. Would need a security code though. You can also get a third party unit from China for around 220. Not sure how good/bad these are.

Thanks will have a look

You could always check out the Kenwood DNX525DAB or DNX520VBT these are made as VAG Dealer fit options, but are pricey!
